Parking & Buses
All buses between Aspen and Snowmass are FREE. Parking in the Intercept Lot at Highway 82 & Brush Creek Road is also FREE.
SNOWMASS
FREE Parking: Town Park Station (formerly Rodeo Lot), shuttles depart starting at 6:40 am every 20 minutes, 6:30 to 7:10 am and 5:20 to 6:20 pm. 10-minute service 7:10 am to 5:20 pm HOV (four or more) park free in lots C & Two Creeks.
Paid Parking: Lots C, E, and Two Creeks are $10 on week days and $20 on weekends. Snowmass 10-punch passes are $109 and Snowmass seasonal stickers are $299 for the public and $249 for premier passholders, for Lots C, E and Two Creeks (also valid at Aspen Highlands). Permit is required from 8 amuntil noon daily. Lot C is only open on weekends and holidays. Spaces are limited, permits do not guarantee a spot. Base Village Parking Garage: Monday-Thursday $15/day; Friday - Sunday $25/day.
Bus Service: Buses run between Aspen & Snowmass from 6:15 am to 2:15 am (:15 & :45) with increased frequency between 8 to 10 am & 2:30 to 4:45 pm. To access Two Creeks by bus from Aspen, riders must take the #3 Village Shuttle from the mall. RFTA will not run a direct bus from Aspen to Two Creeks.

ASPEN MOUNTAIN
FREE Parking: Two hours in residential areas for individual drivers. Carpools of two or more adults of driving age can also park for free all day with a carpool parking permit. Carpool parking permits are available at the airport parking kiosk only. Hybrids with current sticker park in designated areas only. Details and stickers can be obtained at the City of Aspen Parking Office (540 E. Main Street).
Paid Parking: Downtown parking meters: Maximum of four hours. First hour: $2, Second hour: $2, Third hour: $3, Fourth hour: $4. Paid parking is in effect from 10 am until 6 pm.
Rio Grande Parking Plaza: $1.50 per hour, $15 per day. 10-punch pass $50. Monthly passes $200.
Shuttle: The free Galena Street Shuttle travels continuously from the Rio Grande Parking Plaza to the Silver Queen Gondola from 8:15 am to 5 pm, during summer and winter seasons.
Day Pass: Allows all-day parking in residential areas for $7 – available at the airport parking kiosk, City Hall, Wheeler Opera House and City Markets. New residential zone meters were installed to make day passes more convenient. Watch local newspapers for information on changes to parking and be sure to comply with all parking signs.
ASPEN HIGHLANDS
Paid Parking: HOV (four or more people) park for FREE in the main parking structure at the base of Aspen Highlands. Paid parking is enforced from 7:30 am to noon daily. No charge for vehicles arriving after noon, space available. Daily parking fee is $10 on week days and $20 on weekends and holidays. Highlands 10-punch passes are $109 and Highlands seasonal stickers are $299 for the public and $249 for premier passholders (also valid at Lots C, E and Two Creeks in Snowmass) and can be purchased from the parking attendant from 7:30 am until noon daily. Spaces are limited, permits do not guarantee a spot.
Bus Service: Skier shuttles, Castle/Maroon and Maroon Creek Road buses provide continuous service from Rubey Park from 6:20 am to 2 am with increased frequency during peak times of 8 to 10:55 am and 2:30 to 4:30 pm. The Castle/Maroon bus is FREE and runs every 20 min. The free Maroon Creek Road shuttle runs every 30 minutes. Pick up a winter bus schedule for more details.
ASC Shuttle: A van runs from the designated Aspen Highlands parking lot at Buttermilk to Highlands beginning at 7 a.m. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes to 11:30 a.m. From 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. the shuttle runs every 30 minutes. Shuttle resumes every 15 minutes schedule at 2:30 p.m. at Aspen Highlands until the last run from Highlands to Buttermilk at 5:30 p.m. Pocket cards with times are available at the Highlands Guest Service desk.
NO PARKING ON MAROON CREEK ROAD. Vehicles will be towed.
BUTTERMILK
FREE Parking: Free parking in all Buttermilk lots. No parking at all during X Games.
NO PARKING ON HIGHWAY 82, Owl Creek or any public roads. Vehicles will be towed.

ROARING FORK TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY (RFTA) FREE SKIER SHUTTLE
RFTA provides transportation on a year-round basis. FREE buses operate between the city of Aspen and the Town of Snowmass Village. Fare buses transport passengers to other points in the Roaring Fork Valley, between Aspen and Rifle. Visit www.rfta.com for more information.
Additionally RFTA buses connect all four Aspen/Snowmass mountains during the winter season with higher frequency during peak times.
FROM SNOWMASS (times from Snowmass Village Mall)
Snowmass to Aspen: every 15 minutes between 6:15 am and 7:30 pm
Snowmass to Buttermilk: board any Aspen-bound bus and request a stop at Buttermilk
Snowmass to Aspen Highlands: direct service at 9 and 10 am and via transfer at the roundabout throughout the day
FROM ASPEN (times from Rubey Park)
Aspen to Snowmass Village Mall: every 15 minutes between 6:15 am and 7:30 pm
Aspen to Buttermilk: board any Snowmass-bound bus and request a stop at Buttermilk; Buttermilk-direct buses will have continuous departures from 8 am to 4:30 pm
Aspen to Aspen Highlands: Castle Maroon bus departs to Highlands every 20 minutes from 6:20 am to 2 am (:00, :20 and :40); continuous departures from 8 am to 4:30 pm

FROM BUTTERMILK (times from base area)
Buttermilk to Aspen: board any Aspen-bound bus from Highway 82; Aspen-Buttermilk direct has continuous departures from 8 am to 4:30 pm
Buttermilk to Snowmass: direct service at 8:30 am, 9:10 am, 10:10 am, 11:10 am, 12:10 pm, 1:10 pm, 2:10 pm, 3:10 pm and 4:10 pm
Buttermilk to Aspen Highlands: direct service via Aspen Highlands/Buttermilk shuttle service throughout the day
MAX THE MOOSE EXPRESS (must be 5 years of age or older): After the first day of class, kids registered for Ski & Snowboard Schools can take the bus with a ski/snowboard Pro from the gondola building in Aspen to Buttermilk every morning between 8:30 and 8:45 am. Kids will be back in Aspen by 4 pm.
OTHER OPTIONS
VILLAGE SHUTTLE
Village Shuttle is a FREE shuttle service to all multi-family residences and activity centers in Snowmass Village. Service from 6:45 am to 12:45 am. For areas within Snowmass not served by the shuttle, use the Dial-a-Ride Service.
DIAL-A-RIDE SERVICE
For Snowmass Village visitors not served by the Village Shuttle service. Call 923-3030 to schedule service within Snowmass Village. (Give at least 30 minutes notice.) The cost is $1 per person and operates from 8 am to 9 pm.
LATE-NIGHT TRANSPORTATION SERVICE
Need a late-night ride home in Snowmass? For service after the Shuttle stops running, “Late-Night Service” provided by High Mountain Taxi, will take you home from the Shuttle Depot from 1 to 2 am; the charge is $1 per person.
PARKING IN THE SNOWMASS VILLAGE MALL
Parking in the lots adjacent to the Snowmass Village Mall area is by permit only. Guests can purchase weekly permits from their lodging company. Residents and employees must have permits. Parking is strictly enforced from the first day of the ski season to the last day of the season. Permits are not required in the summer and off-season.
