What level skier or snowboarder are you? Use this guide to determine your current level so you can decide which program will deliver the biggest breakthrough for you in your skiing or riding and overall on-snow fun!
LEVEL 1 green I have never skied/boarded. LEVEL 2 green I can change directions and stop. I'm working on linking my turns together. LEVEL 3 green I can link turns without stopping. I feel good on easy green terrain. LEVEL 4 green/blue I'm really moving now. I am comfortable on green terrain and may be ready to try an easy blue run. I am working on skiing with my skis parallel. LEVEL 5 green/blue My turns are rhythmic, I feel comfortable on all green and some blue runs. LEVEL 6 blue I am confident on most groomed blue terrain and want to explore new techniques or terrain (like moguls, powder, carving, small bumps or into freestyle). LEVEL 7 blue/black I am confident on blue terrain and some black terrain and want to improve my technique and explore new terrain (like moguls, powder, carving, small bumps or freestyle). LEVEL 8 black I am comfortable on all black terrain and maybe some double black runs, I want to continue developing my skills or explore new terrain such as steeper runs, bigger bumps or bigger hits in the Park. LEVEL 9 double black I am comfortable on all blacks on some double-blacks. I am working on technique and tactics to ski the steeps, big bumps, or advanced freestyle. FREESTYLE Freestyle may not be available at all lesson locations so please inquire ahead of time so we can make arrangements to have a pro available who is a freestyle specialist. |
